Loco Meals - Chicken Teriyaki (Contains Mirin - slight alcohol content)

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Defrost: 1-1.5hours* (Read our blog on "How to defrost food safely")
  2. Pour a little oil in your frying pan, on medium heat
  3. Once the oil is hot, place the chicken on the frying pan.
  4. Pan fry each side for 5-7 mins each, until it is caramelized (Stir your chicken to avoid burning)
  5. Once the chicken is about done, turn down the fire to low
  6. Pour the gravy in and cook for another 2 mins
  7. Add a little hot water if the gravy becomes too thick for your liking
  8. Serve with a bowl of steaming rice and a ramen egg....(yummy)

Ingredients used: 

  • Chicken - antibiotics and hormone free
  • We used Chicken thigh in this recipe
  • Light soy sauce 
  • Sesame oil
  • Brown sugar
  • Mince garlic
  • Cornstarch
  • Mirin (Contains alcohol)
  • No added preservatives
  • No MSG
