Bactidol is an oral antiseptic which contains Hexetidine (100mg per 100ml) and alcohol (9%). Hexetidine is an active ingredient antibacterial and anti-fungal agent used in mouthwash and gargles. It is used to treat tonsillitis, pharyngitis, gingivitis, etc.

It can also be used in oral surgeries.
